We had an amazing time staying in a beautiful home. As a large group, there was more than enough room and accommodations were great! Great views and our host was very considerate and even checked to make sure we made it in and left safe as there were reports of bad weather. Would highly recommend!

WOW!!! I recently completed a 3-night stay at Heaven's Gate Private with a group of friends (12 guests total) for a reunion and the cabin was perfect!!! Lee was a very attentive host and made certain that every detail was covered. He even called the morning after our first night to check on us and to see if everything was OK. It was just the right amount of follow-up and customer service. The cabin is spacious, has awesome views, and loads to do for entertainment - both indoors and out. We arrived on Friday night and by Saturday afternoon there was already talk of a return visit! You won't go wrong with this cabin!

We had the pleasure of spending the MLK weekend of 2016 with family and friends at this lovely cabin. It was close to everything but yet it was set apart so you got the feel of being in a secluded cabin. The beds were comfortable and the views were absolutely breathtaking. I loved the dinning area. There is a huge square table that seats 8, it was good for eating, playing board games, and talking. The living area has a gas fireplace that kept the house nice and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything imaginable including extra pots and pans, plenty of silverware, waffle maker, mixer and electric skillet...everything! This cabin should be called Fun Times because there are games galore. There was a pool table, air hockey, frogger video game, foosball and even books, videos and board games. Outside there is a little fort area with a swing and rock wall for the kids. The fire pit was awesome. There is even a clear area out back, if you want to throw the football around. Simply put, this cabin has something for everyone. The owners are kind and accommodating. They want you to really enjoy your stay. They provided us with things to do in the area. They really took care of us. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to have a carefree good time!

The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the hiking trails and sitting on the deck and taking in the amazing views. The kids loved the game room and we all gathered around fire pit to relax and listen to the fire crackling. The cabin was private, beautiful and homey. The kitchen easily accommodated our large group. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our extended family. We will definitely come back again.

We had a great time. The owner was so attentive and available to us. The property was even more beautiful than the pictures. We were so lucky that a meteor shower was happening while we were there! The huge deck gave us prime seats to natures display. I wish I never had to leave!!!!

This was the perfect getaway for our group of friends! The house was fully stocked with everything we could have needed in the kitchen, bedrooms beautifully decorated with towels and some toiletries for the weekend, hot tub fully functioning and perfect, fire pit with wood and more. The listing is as described to a T-it was perfect. It's the last house in a gated community up at the peak of the mountain so you have a beautiful view and all the privacy you need. We were all training for a race as well, and the neighborhood was the perfect place for a safe and challenging run. We couldn't have asked for a better home to borrow for the weekend. Thanks for the awesome stay at your home!

The mountain home was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean, well furnished, and spacious. We had 11 people in our party for Thanksgiving weekend. We all fit comfortably and the dining table fit all of us. The owners have taken special care in making sure there is plenty of entertainment on site including several games, books, a pool table, a fusball table, a play set and air hockey. The kids from age 14 to 3 had an amazing experience! The adults enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub! Downtown Ellijay is a short drive and so are several hiking trails. We hope to visit again...everything was perfection!

This mountain cabin was as beautiful as described. It was the perfect place for my family and me to get together for a fun weekend. We ventured into Ellijay and to Blue Ridge but would have been perfectly content to stay at the cabin. The children loved all the games - air hockey, foosball, pool and board games. We hope to rent this cabin again next fall.
